Brief
Growing the online side of 0800 REPAIR’S business had been identified as a priority and Search Engine Optimisation was identified as the most effective channel to achieve this growth. The key elements of the brief were to
• Ensure that SEO traffic figures exceeded the volumes previously generated by paid search within 12 months
• Gain top 3 organic positions for a pre-determined set of highly competitive key industry search terms such as “appliance repair” and “washing machine repair”.
• Significantly increase onsite bookings
Strategy
A fresh site audit to identify any issues causing ineffectual indexing was completed. After comprehensive keyword research, an onsite optimisation strategy was implemented which targeted “Tier 1” and “Tier 2” keywords
thatencompassed a comprehensive set of high volume search terms and long tail variations containing specific appliances, brand and location that had been identified as areas for growth. Lakestar Media devised a comprehensive content strategy, which allowed the internal linking structure of the site to be expanded. To improve the back link profile of the site, a strategy of intense link scouting was rolled out to target niche, highly relevant blog sites to secure authoritative back links. This was complimented by a PR led link building campaign to increase the variety of the back link profile.
Results
